Fidel F. Bonilla's Obituary
Fidel F. Bonilla passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022, at home with family at the age of 70. He was born to Manuel and Dorothy Bonilla on April 9, 1952, in Antioch, CA. Growing up in the surrounding area, he graduated from Liberty High School class of 1970. In the years after graduating, he went through different jobs before finding his career as a truck driver. When he wasn't working, he loved to spend time with family and friends, go on road trips with anyone willing to go, and watching his granddaughters play softball. He ended his career in 2016 with Gillies Trucking, a company that treated him like family even after he was no longer there.
Fidel was a one-of-a-kind man and will be missed dearly. He is survived by his siblings, nieces and nephews, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation
will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 10:00am with a funeral service at 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
