Frances passed away peacefully on June 10th, at age 94. She was born and raised in Pittsburg, CA. She attended schools in Pittsburg and graduated from Pittsburg High in 1947. After graduation she went to work at United States Steel. It was here she met her husband, Harold. They were married for 57 years. Later Frances went to work for the Pittsburg School District, retiring after 35 years. In 2004, Harold and Frances moved to Antioch. She was a member of St Ignatius Catholic Church, the Antioch YLI #101, the Catholic Daughters and the Native Daughters of the Golden West. She loved to knit, bake, cook, play bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

Frances is survived by her son, Patrick (Evelyn) Scott of Antioch, grandchildren David (Randi) Scott of Weed, and Kelly (Bryan) Duncan of Pleasant Hill, nephews Joseph (Doreen) Ferranti of San Jose and Anthony (Arleen) Ferranti of Los Angeles. Her great grandchildren; Calum, Cadance and Corinne Scott, and Haley and Avery Duncan affectionately called her GG. Her grandchildren & great grandchildren were the love of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold, parents Joseph and Patrina Ferranti, her sister Nancy Norton and brother Anthony Ferranti.

A memorial funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 10:00am at St Ignatius of Antioch, with a reception following at Lone Tree Golf Course in Antioch.
