Frances Urenda Vasquez, 80, passed away on February 21, 2015. Born September 17, 1934 in McFarland, Ca to Eufemio and Domitila Urenda. She was a lifelong resident of Pittsburg. She was united in marriage to Jesus Vasquez on December 13, 1953. She loved family so much, sharing her love through food, and most of all the laugher of being with family and friends.
She leaves her children, Sally, Gordy, Jess, Joe and Antoinette. Her 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Vasquez, grandchildren Jessica Vasquez and Ricky Prada Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 5:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
