Francisco Verduzco Madrigal AKA Frankie Madrigal, 94 years old passed away June 26, 2019 in Lodi California with his family at his side. He was born on December 03, 1924 in Pittsburg California with his twin sister Emalia passing months later.  The beginning of WWII at age of 16 (lied about his age) and enlisted in the Army.  His basic training was Camp Roberts In Paso Robles California.  Then went oversea to Hawaii to the Army base and there he met up with his brother Augustine Madrigal who was station in the Navy. He graduated from Pittsburg High School, played football on the Junior Varsity.  He was a season ticket holder for the Oakland Raiders for many years. Thus began his long life careers working at US Steel Mill Pittsburg in 1946, Stockton Brickyard in Pittsburg, Crown Zella Bach Antioch, Granny Goose in Oakland, Western Cannery Antioch, Martinez Cannery in Martinez, then retired out of the Tillie Lewis Packing in Turlock California.

Frank is surviving in life are his youngest brother Manuel Madrigal and lots of cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death were parents Luis Mendes Madrigal born in Cotija Michoacán Mexico, and Ysidora Melgoza Verduzco born in Purepero Michoacán Mexico. Brothers are Medardo, Louie, Salvador, Augustine, Edward "Lolly" Madrigal.  Sisters are Zenida, Abigail, Santa Juanita, Josephina, Emilia Madrigal.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
