Obituary

Frisco Manglanan Apalit Jr., also known as Bob, passed away on Monday after complications due to cancer. He touch many lives and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Frisco was born in Makati Manilla Philippines and was the middle child of 7 children. He moved to the United States whe he was 19 years old. He retired as a service operator from DuPont in 2001. After retirement he proceeded to split his time between the US and his homeland, the Pilippines. His past times were bowling and fishing, but his real passion was golfing, which he shared with his son and youngest daughter.

He was married to Laurinda Clet for 17 years. He was a father figure to her daughter Lorianna. With Laurinda, they had two children Frisco Apalit III and Connie Apalit Byrer. He was a grandfather to four boys, Darius Meeks, Theodore Geddes, Rumario Geddes and Cash Byrer. He is also survived by two older sisters Meding Grey and Toning Lostica, a younger sister Lolita Caceras, and the youngest sibling, brother Nelson Apalit. He will be remembered as fun loving with an infectious laugh. He will be missed by all.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020 from 9:15 to 11 am followed by a funeral service at 11am at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 2295 Railroad Ave. in Pittsburg.
