George Norman Anderson, 66, former resident of Antioch passed away Friday March 8, 2013 at his home. George was born May 22, 1946 in Vero Beach, Florida and graduated from Hogan High School and earned a degree from University of California in Berkeley. He worked for over 30 years as a Radiologic Technologist at Sutter Delta Hospital. He enjoyed motorcycles, classic cars, reading, astronomy and spending time with his granddaughter. His laughter and kind heart will be missed by all who knew him. George is survived by his loving daughters, Kristi Brown of Tacoma, WA and Nicole Anderson-Pena of Sacramento; son Claude Pena of Sacramento; beloved granddaughter Kaprice Brown of Tacoma, WA; sister Shirley Glover of Vallejo and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Doris, and his wife Linda Marie Anderson (Landini) in 2002.Friends and family are invited to a Memorial service on Friday March 15, 2013 from 4-7pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
