After battling a series of respiratory infections in the hospital, George made his way to be with the Lord on May 18, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was 66 years old.

George was born on May 31,1955 in the city of San Francisco, California. His father was a military man that moved his family around to live in different places throughout the United States, but eventually settled in the Bay Area where George spent a majority of his life. George attended San Jose State University for a bachelor's in psychology.

In 1985, George met the love of his life, Valora. After they met, he was forever changed for the better. This love at first sight inspired him to tirelessly work long hours in hopes of building a beautiful life for his future bride. George was able to purchase his first home in Fremont, CA. In April 1988, they got married in the Philippines and Valora eventually joined her loving husband in the United States.

In addition to working to support their growing family, George made it his mission to make sure his wife became a practicing dentist in the United States... a dream that he eventually had for his two daughters as well. In 1996, with George's loving support and guidance, Valora passed her clinical boards and was officially a U.S dentist. Together, they were able to open two dental practices that George managed for 25 years. They worked happily together everyday to grow the businesses and provide quality dental care for the community while building unforgettable memories that will last them a lifetime.

One of George's biggest accomplishments was being a father. He always wanted children and considered himself lucky enough to have two. He was always there for them through their ups and downs, and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer. His dreams came true when both of his daughters graduated from dental school, became dentists just like their mother, and continued the legacy that he began with Valora.

A destination that always held a special place in his heart is Hawaii. George loved Hawaii so much. It became another place to call home, and he looked forward to spending the rest of his days enjoying his paradise. To ensure that George's last dream comes true, the family will be holding a private service in Hawaii as his final resting place on his birthday weekend.

George enjoyed the simple things in life such as watching a San Francisco Giants baseball game and eating ice cream. He was an avid lover of music and played the guitar as well as the drums in his youth. He was known for his wisdom, warm heart, and kind and compassionate spirit.

George was the beloved husband of Valora Legaspi and devoted father of Adelisa and Katharine. He is also survived by his siblings: Carmen, Wanda, Robert, and Annette. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugenio Sr. and Adela Legaspi and his brother Eugenio Jr. Legaspi.

His memorial service will be at The Bay Church, 2200 Ventura Drive Brentwood, CA 94513 at 4pm on Sunday May 22, 2022. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
