Gerald Louis Saxon was born February 2, 1951 to Curtis Saxon and Velma Saxon in Dallas Texas.

Gerald was the oldest of 5 children. He attended some of his schooling in Texas then moved to California in 1965 where he finished his education. Gerald joined the job corps. Gerald was known for doing side jobs as a handy man.

Gerald loved Family gathering where he was the BBQ man. Gerald was always up for a good party.

Gerald Louis Saxon departed this life on April 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by both his parents Curtis Saxon and Velma Saxon, one sister Linda Saxon-Nicholson.

Gerald leaves to cherish his precious memory: one daughter Shirlene Saxon-Cooper of Brentwood Ca, one son Chives Saxon of Pittsburg, two sisters Delois Saxon-Sanford of Pittsburg, Gwendolyn Saxon of Pittsburg, one bother Curtis Wayne Saxon of Pittsburg, one special cousin-sister Linda Manning of Pittsburg, two niece Nakeshai Nicholson, Tory Lawson. 6 nephews Stan Nicholson jr, Ladarell Harts, DaMonie'o Harts Sr, Jessie Harts Sr, Jevon Sanford, Malik Lawson. Three uncles Robert Manning of Pittsburg, Perry Manning of Texas, Claude Manning of Texas and many great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends not mention.
