Geronimo Santos Nazareta's Obituary
Gerry was born and educated in the Philippines. He joined the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a career machinist and supervisor at the Gilroy Stamping Co. He was an avid bowler and sports fan of the SF Giants, SF 49ers and Golden State Warriors.
Gerry is survived by his loving wife Rosalinda, with whom he recently celebrated 50 years of marriage; children Jerry Jr., Lisa, Victor, Susan (Jim), Cynthia, Joseph (Nanci), Angelique (Edward), and Gabriel (Cecilia); 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Alice, Cora and Darlene; 2 brothers, Nap and Manuel; countless nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Blas and Carmen; 3 brothers, Santiago, Angel and Richard; and sister, Sally.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Oak View Memorial Park, Antioch.
