Gilbert A.
Acasio
Jan 7, 1970 — Mar 6, 2023
Pittsburg
Gilbert "Gil" Acasio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and mostly an amazing friend. He left this world prematurely from a cardiac arrest on March 6, 2023 at the age of 53. He was born to William Acasio and Lupe Muela in Pittsburg, CA on January 7, 1970. Gilbert was raised in Brentwood with his God given parents Lucille and Pete Tule. In the 1980's Gil moved back to Pittsburg and loved everything about Pittsburg, he was a true native it is where he called home.
Gil was a man of faith who loved Jesus Christ, his favorite scripture was, "Walk by faith and not by sight". He was a faithful Oakland Raiders, Oakland A's and Golden State Warriors fan. He also had a great joy for his traveling adventures with his wife, Gun Smoke, Sanford & Son, rebuilding his 67 Impala, gardening, cooking and taking pictures. He was a comedian who loved to make everyone laugh. He was definitely a great story teller and you can could be sure at least 50% of every story was true, most of the times a fact check was necessary. He was a people person but if he gave you a nick name, just know you held a special place in his heart.
He is preceded in death by his mother Lucille Tule, and his biological parents William Acasio and Lupe Muela. He is survived by his Wife Suman Nand-Acasio, his son Matthew Edward Acasio, his two grandchildren Jayce Angel Acasio and Ellaze Alayla Acasio, his 5 brothers Mark Acasio, William Acasio, Michael Tule, Eddie Andrade and Gabe Acasio and 3 sisters Laura Ontiveros (Tule), Monique Acasio, Elena Ruiz (Acasio), his Papa Pedro Tule, his God daughter Rosy Osuna and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
