We are saddened to announce the passing of Gilbert Luis Wagner, 40 years old surrounded by his family. He was a son, brother, nephew and uncle to a family who loved him deeply. A Pittsburg native, he born at Los Medanos Hospital April 10th, 1984. He attended and graduated from Pittsburg High School.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his father Gilbert Ruben Wagner. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Rita Garcia and Ricky Cox. His stepmother Elizabeth Perez. His Grandmother Josephine Gray. His six siblings Rita and Jessica Wagner. Sylvia, Christina, Andrea and Daniel Garcia. Along with his many nieces and nephews.

He had a competitive spirit in all things. Gilbert loved sports, enjoyed family dinners, he enjoyed family holidays most of all Gilbert enjoyed being surrounded by his family.

Gilbert had a contagious laugh that lit up the room with a smile to match. Gilbert will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 1:00pm with a funeral service at 2:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
