With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Gloria Jean Quesada, age 74, who was born on November 14, 1951, in Pittsburg, California, and passed away on February 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Gloria dedicated 20 years of her career as a dental assistant before continuing her service with Contra Costa County, where she worked another 20 years as a senior clerk until her retirement. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and commitment to serving others.

Above all, Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her family was her greatest joy, and she had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. She cherished attending her grandchildren's games, spending time with family and friends, traveling, listening to music, dancing, shopping, and enjoying her morning coffee.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Victor Quesada; her children, Victor Quesada Jr. (Veronica), Lisa Howsoney (Sandro), and Vincent Quesada Sr. (Maria Luisa); ten grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Sarah Castillo; her brothers, Carlos Castillo Jr. and Larry Castillo; and her grandson, Victor Quesada.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a rosary at 4:00 pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 11:00 am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Gloria will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.

Gloria's love, warmth, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
