Grace Bonanno Miretti, 97, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2016 at her son's residence in Gualala, Ca. Grace worked for Western California Canners, Bechtel Corp. and Tahoe Pools as a bookkeeper. She volunteered for the Pittsburg Police Department. Grace was an avid S.F. 49ers fan and was a season ticket holder for 26 years. She enjoyed reading, crafts, and traveling.
Grace is survived by her son John Bonanno (Kerry), grandson John Ryan Bonanno (Krista), 3 great grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, and Brianna Rose. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John M. Bonanno, second husband, Martin Pete Miretti, parents Joseph and Eva Anello, and sister Nina Nascimento
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
