Grant Grimeson Webber, 62, of Pittsburg, California, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025.

Grant was born on April 21, 1962, in West Islip, New York, to Jim and Nancy Webber. The youngest of four children, he grew up admiring and deeply loving his older siblings Jim, Louise, and Will. His childhood was filled with memories of playing hockey on the lake and visiting his grandparents in Binghamton, where he cherished the simple joys of their converted trolley-car home and his grandfather's homemade oatmeal.

In 1989, Grant welcomed his son, Grant, whom he adored throughout his life. Being a father was his greatest joy, and he remained devoted to his son, attending every sporting event, milestone, and moment he could.

This same year, Grant began a 19-year career with Chevron in Concord. Known for his strong work ethic, humility, and reliability, he excelled in customer service roles and was admired for his dedication and integrity.

In the late 1990s, Grant's life took a new direction when he met Karen, who would become his wife and partner for 25 years. Tall, handsome, and unfailingly kind, Grant made an immediate impression. Their love grew quickly and naturally; they built a life grounded in shared values, generosity, and unwavering support for one another. Grant was a protector, a steady presence through illness, hardship, and loss, and a man who always put others before himself.

Grant will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his modesty, his generosity, and the enormous heart he shared with family and friends. His story is one of love, resilience, and devotion.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; his son, Grant; his brother Jim and wife Carol; his sisters-in-law, Laura Juranek and Melissa Fitzsimmons; brother-in-law, Jim Fitzsimmons; nephew, Rob Fitzsimmons; nieces Shannon Webber, Kathy Fitzsimmons, Elizabeth Juranek, and Danielle Juranek; extended family, and many friends and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
