Guadalupe "Lupe" González passed away on October 11, 2021 in Pittsburg at the age of 94. Born in Amatlán de Cañas Nayarit, Mexico on May 1, 1927, she came to the United States in the 1950's and made Pittsburg, her home in the 1960's. In her younger years she loved singing in the church choir, in the plaza during the holiday, and their fiestas back in Mexico with her best friend Velia Casillas. When she came to the United States she found work at the Buccaneer Restaurant as a waitress, bartender, and cook until the late 1960's. Then she went on to become a loyal employee of The New Mecca Café for over 40 years and retired in 2015. She enjoyed spending time with her family and occasionally, a nice glass of wine with her dinner.

Lupe is survived by her two son's Ricardo "Noe" Moran and his wife Araceli and Salvador "Sal" Flores Moran; daughter-in-law Irene M. González ; grandchildren Luis "Louie" González II and wife Sahira, Sylv M. González , Miguel R. Moran, Adriana Maribel Moran, Ricardo "Nico" Moran, Anthony Juaquin Moran, Monica Vargas and her husband Brian Vargas, Jessica Howater and her husband Dan, Robert and Jason González ; great grandchildren Robert "Bobby" González , Louie A. González , TinaMarie Cañas , Mia A. González , and Jesse A. González .

Lupe is preceded in death by her first husband Robert González of two years and her second husband Salvador Robles Moran of almost 60 years, son Roberto "Beto" González , son Luis "Louie" González , and granddaughter Ramona Marie González .

She truly loved her family unconditionally and will be greatly missed.
