Guadalupe Ramirez's Obituary
J. Guadalupe Ramirez, "Lupe" was a landscaper for over fifty years. A native of Mexico, he lived in Coachella, CA., San Francisco, CA. and Concord for over 25 years. As a young boy in Mexico, Lupe worked hard to help his mother and younger siblings. He was the first of eight siblings to move to the United States. He assisted his family with the struggles to move from Mexico.
Lupe is survived by his two children: Anna Maria Ramirez: Pablo Oligario Ramirez, 1 grandchild, brothers Alfredo Ramirez (Maria), Olegario Ramirez (Rosa), Hector Lopez (Patricia), sisters, Esther Franco (Salvador), Elisa Lopez, Virginia Vera (Juan) and Anna Dowke (Jay), and 29 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord.
