We are saddened to announce the passing of Halaliku Kaloni Tufunga on May 31, 2023, our Heavenly Father called him home. Halaliku was born on September 2, 1955, to Solomone and Ofa Tufunga in Vava'u, Tonga. He was however, raised, loved, and nurtured by a loving, kind, and God-fearing woman, Sala Tapasa Latu of Ha'alaufuli, Tonga.

Halaliku is survived by his six children - Lokelani, Heleni, Pelenaise, Halaliku, Graylyn, Siale, Mele Paea - and his 24 grandchildren.

Halaliku was a diligent worker, a loving father, and a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saint. His kind and generous nature touched many lives. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. His presence will be truly missed.

Psalm 16:8: "I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken."

Visitation and a service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral services Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1432 Laurel Rd, Oakley, CA 94561. Burial following at Oak View Memorial Park 2500 E. 18th Street, Antioch, Ca 94509.
