Harry was born in Lucca, Italy and immigrated with his family to the United States in 1934. During WWII he was a baker in the Navy and married Caroline Pampalone in 1945. After the war was over he opened a bakery in Colma and moved to Pittsburg in 1951 where he owned and operated the Prima Donna Cake Box until his retirement in 1985.
Harry belonged to many civic organizations including the American Legion, Elks Club, The Italian American Club and the Pittsburg Yacht Club.
He is survived by Caroline, his wife of 69 years, son Paul, daughter Renee and grandchildren: Anthony, and Angelo Castiglioni, and Meghan and Marissa Coronado. His son Dan passed away in 2005.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00am at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
