Harvey Tiscareno Hughes, Jr., 67, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 after ending a near 2 decade battle with kidney cancer and associated issues, with his family by his side.
He was born in California, September 10, 1948, son of late Consuelo Tiscareno of California, and Harvey H. Hughes, Sr., born in Arizona. Harvey "Harv" retired from USS Posco, avidly enjoyed gardening, good Mexicano food, cookies, proudly displaying his "64" Chevy Impala at local car shows, and being King of his castle. He loved his family and friends, would make regular trips to Lake Tahoe to camp when he could, and raising many Chow Chow's.
He is survived by his wife, Delores; children, Nick, Monica, and Lisa; sons-in-law, Troy Angeles and David Baker; daughter-in-law, Shannon Lewis Hughes; grandchildren, Savannah, Carolyn, and Marissa; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Gideon, Laiklyn, and Jordan; sisters, Anita and Patricia; step-daughter, Kellee Morales; step-grandchildren; Maritza and Nathan; and many beloved cousins. He is preceded in death by his beloved brother, George; his first wife Maria Rosario Sanchez Hughes; his parents, and many others.
