Hazel was born September 2, 1934 in Oak City, Utah. She was raised there on a farm with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She was the fifth child out of 6 children. Hazel was raised in the faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served a mission for the church in the Toronto Ontario Mission from 1960 through 1961.
On March 6th, 1971 she married Bruce W. Humpherys and were sealed for all time and eternity in the Manti Utah Temple. They started a family together in San Francisco, Ca where Bruce had employment with Dean Witter Reynolds as an accountant. They later bought a home in Bay Point, Ca where they called home. She lived there for the last 39 years.

Hazel served in various callings and positions in the Church locally. She also loved children and taught at a preschool for many years.

Hazel is survived by 5 children, 12 grand children and 5 great grand children.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm with a service at 3pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2201 Gold Club Road, Pittsburg, Ca 94565
