Honore Victor
Haro
Jan 11, 1943 — May 3, 2023
Pittsburg
Our beloved father, Honore Victor Haro, has passed away peacefully at the age of 80. He went to be with the Lord on May 3rd, 2023, with his three children surrounding his bedside. Honore is survived by his sisters, Josephine Derr and Frances Estrada; his three children, Teresa Manning, Lanze Haro and Blaise Haro; and his grandchildren, Brianna Haro, Jacob Manning, Samantha Manning and Christian Haro. Strong, stoic, and always independent, he walked his own path in life…. on his own terms. He lived life every day without regret, doing all the things he wanted to do and in his own way. He was born in King City, California on January 11th, 1943, where he grew up. He moved to the San Francisco Bay Area after marrying and raised his family there but ended up returning to King City years later. It was only recently, in 2022, that he had moved back to the Bay Area to be near his children. He is preceded in death by Jose Haro, his father; Rose Haro, his mother; Manuel, his brother; and Dolores, his sister. And he is with them now, in paradise. His favorite pastime was always deer hunting and outdoor activities, as well as having backyard barbeques with his family. If he was doing one or the other…. He was happy. Honore served his country during the Vietnam war in the U.S. Navy, and we honor him for his service. We honor him and love him for who he was, and we ask that you would remember him for the laughter, joy and good times that you had with him….and not for the sadness of his passing.
