Horace W. Davi's Obituary
Horace was the son of Salvatore Erasimo Davi from Isola della Femine, Sicily and Lucelle Cobiseno from Tunis, Tunisia. Horace is survived by his wife of 63 years Nina Russo Davi and sons Salvatore and wife Susan Davi; Joseph and wife Barbara Davi; granddaughters
Stephanie and Richard Ercolini and Joanne Davi; great grandson Dominic Ercolini.Horace served in the US Navy Seabees during WWII as a member of the Underwater Demolition Team in the Pacific Theatre. He received a purple heart at the Battle of Leyte Gulf and received an honorable discharge in 1945.Horace was a general building
contractor since 1954 until
his retirement. A funeral with full military honors was held on January 16, 2012 at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon.
