Inocencia Ramos Valdez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away after 92 years of living a very blessed and accomplished life. Her never ending smile left an impression on all those around her.
Inocencia was born in San Jose, Nueva Ecija, Philippines and earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from the Republic College of San Jose. She worked as a 2nd and 3rd grade school teacher, and during that time she had reached the status of head teacher before retiring after 25 years. She then traveled to Melbourne, Australia for 3 years, before finally settling down in Pittsburg, CA.
Inocencia is survived by her sons Irineo Jr. and wife Justina (Pittsburg), as well as Rudy and wife Cora (Vallejo); and her daughters Emma and husband William (Melbourne, Australia), as well as Eva and husband Alberto (Melbourne, Australia). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Romel, Cecile and husband Sisilio, and Julie, children of Irineo Jr and Justina; Randy and Arnold, sons of Rudy and Cora; and Sharlene and Glen, daughter and son of Emma and William. Inocencia was also fortunate enough to have 2 great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, son of Julie, and Christian, son of Cecile and Sisilio.
Inocencia joins her late husband, Irineo Valdez Sr. , and their two sons Joseph and Bernabe, as well as her 7 brothers and sisters in eternal rest. May her loving presence and smile bring perpetual light and joy to those whom she now joins in heaven.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Monday August 25, 2014 at 4pm with a vigil at 6pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Tuesday August 26, 2014 at 10am at Our Lady Queen of the World Catholic Church 3155 Winterbrook Dr, Bay Point CA 94565. Committal services following at Oakview Memorial Park, Antioch.
