Jack Baker passed away at home in Antioch on April 10 ^th at the age of 94.  He was born to Orval and Elizabeth Baker, raised in Winters California, the 5 ^th of 6 children. He served proudly in World War II in the Army Air Corps. After the war, he returned to California, working for PG&E and the State of California, and finally settling on Civil Engineering as his life-long profession.

Jack is survived by his wife Aloha, whom he met 1979 and married in 1985. In addition, he is survived by his last sibling, sister Delores Soares of Dixon, daughters Colleen Peralta (Nelson Peralta) of Alaska and Diane Gibson-Gray (Ken Gray) of Antioch, grandchildren Erika Patch, Rochelle Arriaga, James Peralta, David Gibson, James K. Gray III, Aloha Laney Gibson, Erin Gonsalves, Taj Gillum, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is survived by many nieces and nephews who live in and around the Winters/Dixon area. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Orval and Lavern, and sisters, Marjorie McEeathren, Colleen Duke, and grandson Phillip Patch. He is also survived by his beloved cat Tuff, whom he fondly called his daughters' brother.

Family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11:30am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Meals on Wheels Diablo District, 1300 Civic Ave, Walnut Creek, CA 94596.
