James Paul Irvin passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. After graduating from Richmond High in 1954 he joined the US Navy and served as a Seaman, then moved on to be a US Merchant Marine as an engineer. After his career in the Military he went on to serve over 20 years in utility service and support services for the US Navy at Mare Island Shipyard.

Paul is survived by his only daughter Debbi Irvin Hassler (Larry) from Montana. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard Irvin and Era Mollie Irvin and his sister Francis Drummond.

A burial with military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 10:00am at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Ca 95620.
