Obituary

James was one of a kind. He lived life on his own terms and never let anyone tell him who he should be. If James wanted something, he went after it. He did things his way, in his own time, and nobody was going to change that.

James had a laugh you could hear from across the room. It was loud, unforgettable, and impossible not to notice. The only time you couldn't tell it was his was when he was with his brothers, Ernesto, Travis, and Nathanael. Together, they all had the same laugh. People used to joke that they sounded like a pack of hyenas, and honestly, it was hilarious. Their laughter could stop you in your tracks, and before long, you'd find yourself laughing right along with them.

James loved people without judgment. He didn't care what you looked like, what you wore, how much money you had, or where you came from. He accepted people for who they were. He shared his heart with the people he chose to let in, and his friendships ran deep. He had a way of making people feel important, like they were the only person in the room that mattered. That's why so many people felt a special connection to him.

James was a father, grandfather, son, stepson, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson and friend. He is reunited with his first born daughter Alyssa and leaves behind his daughters, Elena and Leila, and his son, James Victor; along with their mothers Trisha and Jessica, his grandson Enzo, his brothers, Ernesto, Travis, and Nathanael, his sister, Serena; his father, James; his mother, Eva; his stepmother, Sophia; his nieces, Jada, Isabella, Athena, and Laveah; his nephews, Jalen and Adrian;  his grandparents Fermin and Gloria and Louie along with countless cousins, family members, and friends who will miss him deeply.

James left this world the same way he lived in it, completely himself in his own terms. His laughter, his stories, his friendships, and the memories he made with the people he loved will never be forgotten.
