Janet Louise Collins was born in Martinez, California, on December 28, 1957. She peacefully departed from this world on November 4, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, who enveloped her in warmth and love during her last moments. Janet was a shining light in our lives as the firstborn daughter of the late Dorothy Bryant and Jessie Collins. She received her education in the Pittsburg Unified School District and proudly graduated from Pittsburg High School in the class of 1975, inspiring us all with her determination. Janet's endearing personality brightened the lives of everyone around her. Her sweet singing, creative crocheting, infectious laughter, and cherished moments spent watching crime shows, especially with her great-grandson, created a legacy of joy and connection. We will forever treasure the beautiful times we shared and are grateful for the memories that uplift us. Janet epitomized love, compassion, and care. Her boundless warmth and joy touched hearts far and wide, leaving a lasting impact as a devoted mother, a doting grandmother, a loving sister, and a genuine friend. The void left by her passing reveals the depth of her influence, and all who knew her will carry her spirit forward. Janet joined her dad, mom, granddaughter cheyanne, brother Johnny Lee, and sisters Ozzie Lee and Virginia Ann in heaven. We find solace in knowing they are united, watching over us with love. Janet will continue to inspire and be cherished by her beloved children Dana, Guy (Larue), and Willie; her uncles, cousins, siblings, nieces/nephews; and her dearly adored grandchildren Andrea, Tra'Tavion, Tre'Shayla, Ebony, Saniya, Jahier, and Savanna. We also remember her great-grandchildren Brylee, Randi, and Jahssan. each holding a special place in her heart, continuing her legacy of love.
