Jeanette "Jeanie" Walls was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother (great) and friend. She left this world on January 11, 2023 in her home surrounded by family at age 86.

Jeanie was born to Salvatore and Rose Ferrante on March 9, 1936. A lifetime resident of Pittsburg CA she worked for many years as a hairdresser, at DuPont, her very own Jeanie's Weenies and later as a homemaker.
Jeanie is survived by her husband of 34 years JC Walls; four children: Donnie Spahn (Gloria), Kim Hawthorne (Jim), Karen Martinez (Butch), and Barbara Freitas; grandchildren: Christine Dillion, Steven Spahn (Vanessa), Keely Nava (Matt), Kristen Costanza (Jared), Nikki Moffett, Roy Moffett Jr.; her brother Anthony Ferrante, 6 great grandchildren and nieces/nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Salvatore & Rose Ferrante, her sisters Eleanor Coniglio (Rabbit) and Marie Flores (Joe).

Jeanie loved cooking/baking, trying new recipes, gardening in her back yard for hours, playing cards, the casino, telling jokes, camping/cabins and most importantly spending time with her family and friends. Jeanie was one of a kind with a personality that was larger than life! We will miss her dearly and love her forever.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00am with a funeral service at 12:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
