It is with love, laughter, and many unforgettable stories that the family of Jeffery Koch, 64, announces his passing. Up until April 6th, 2026, he was a resident of Pittsburg, CA for over 20 years and a Plumbing Engineer for over 40 years before retirement.

Jeffery was deeply family-oriented and found his greatest joy in spending time with the people he loved most. Whether gathered around the dinner table, sharing stories, or making everyone laugh with one of his jokes, he had a special way of bringing family together. Jeffery had a gift for making people smile, whether through a perfectly timed joke, a long story that somehow got better with every retelling, or simply by bringing warmth and humor into every room he entered. His joy for storytelling and playful spirit were part of what made him so deeply loved by family and friends alike. He is survived by his stepchildren, Kristen Woodring and Jared Degler, and by his cherished grandchildren, Shelby Woodring, Siarra Hannah, and Analiya Degler, who will forever remember his humor, kindness, and the happiness he brought into their lives.

Though he may no longer be here to tell one more joke or spin one more story, his laughter will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A private memorial service will be held on June 27, 2026.
