Jeffrey was a former resident of Pittsburg, California where he spent his early life working on his father's cattle ranch and studied Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at Cal Poly. He also participated in the Contra Costa County 4-H club. He later migrated to the Reno, Nevada area with his wife and two daughters where he retired in 2022 and spent his time enjoying barbecuing, watching football, camping and spending time with his family and friends

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his dear late wife, Deborah Susan Wing-Thomas, His father William Wayne Thomas and his mother Dolores Thomas. He is survived by his two loving daughters Whitney Jane Thomas and Kayla Ann Thomas, his loving stepmother Tina Thomas, his brothers William and Gianni as well as his sister Rhonda, and his nephews Cornelius, Joshua and Hayden.  Jeffrey was a kindhearted, hardworking man and will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
