Jennifer C. Escobar passed away on Tuesday after a valiant battle with cancer. She was 40 years old. She touched many lives with her gentle, giving, and compassionate spirit.
Jennifer was born in the Philippines and graduated from Jefferson High School in Daly City. She spent part of her childhood growing up in Long Beach, and lived for a time in Central California, Rhode Island, and Tarzana, CA.
Jennifer is survived by her father, Francisco Escobar, Jr., her brother, Francis Dean Escobar, her adoptive mother, Emma C. Escobar, and her step-mother, Drina Escobar, all of Pittsburg. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
