Joe Murguia passed away peacefully on May 22, 2017 in his hometown of Pittsburg, Ca, after living several years with Diabetes and Heart Disease.
He touched the lives of many and left a definite mark in each person's heart.
Joe will always be remembered for his personable demeanor, pride, genuine character, and overwhelming love for his family. Joe was born in Pittsburg, CA and graduated from Pittsburg High school in 1954.He earned a Bachelor's Degreein Agronomy and worked throughout his lifetime as an import export manager of various international companies. He was an active member of
the Moose Lodge Chapter 1475, where he will be missed by many
for his humor, warm heart and  charitable donations. Joe is survived by his loving wife Alicia; devoted children Anthony, Sandra and Doris; grand-children Anthony Jr., Madeline, Sandy, Cathy, Johnny, Jorge and Teresa as well as his great grand-children Alyssa, Alexis, Priscilla, Massimo, Nicolas and Agustin all of Pittsburg. Also survived by his first wife Guadalupe Ureña and brother
Amador Murguia.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 1:00pm with a funeral service at 3:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
