Joe Elizaido Viarreal - dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend of many - passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 82 in Concord, California.

Joe was born to Juan Esteban Viarreal and Ernestine Maestas in San Juan Pueblo, New Mexico. He graduated from Espinola High School in New Mexico before joining the United States Marine Corps, where he served from April 1960 to March 1966. He was stationed in Concord, Ca, in 1965. Following his military service, he began his career as a real estate agent in the Bay Area for fifty years. While selling real estate, he met the love of his life, Maria Victoria Viarreal; they married on July 16, 1978, and were happily married for 44 years.

Joe was a devoted Christian and family man. He was a sports enthusiast of Bay Area and New Mexico teams. He enjoyed western movies, oldies, and making friends wherever he went. As a real estate agent, Joe found great purpose in helping people find their family homes. Joe was authentically and wholeheartedly there for those in his life.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Ernestine, and his two daughters, Monica and Cheryl. He is survived by his wife, Victoria. His five daughters, Teresa, Elizabeth, Abbey, Agnes, and Mona. His three sons, Tino, Sergio, and Joshua, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Tuesday, January 10 at 11:45 am, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon Ca. Followed by a memorial service and reception at Harvest Church, 126 Peabody Road, Vacaville, Ca.
