John 'Tricky' Billeci passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on March 22, 2013 . He was a native and lifelong resident of Pittsburg, CA.
John was an avid sports enthusiast and proud grandfather to Kyle, Conner, Serena, and Anthony Billeci. All talented athletes and creative artists. John passes along his passion for hunting, camping, bow hunting, and the great outdoors to his family; along with the stewardship of baseball (SF Giants) and football (SF 49ers) and old movies.
John retired from U. S. Steel in 1998 after 43 years of dedicated service. He often spoke of the fraternity and good times he had with the rigging gang.
John leaves his children Ken (Melanie), Karen, Kevin, and Craig (Veronica) wonderful memories of a beautiful childhood and family life which he created with his beloved wife Nancy M. (Cardinale) who passed away in 1994. John and Nancy were Pittsburg High sweethearts who married in 1959.
John and Nancy cherished family. John will be reunited in heaven with his parents Nino and Frances Billeci, brothers Frank and Anthony, and sisters Katherine and Rose (Pappas). And in-laws Andrew and Jenny Cardinale; and brother-in-law Benedict.
The Billeci and Cardinale families will join together to celebrate John's life Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm. Chapel blessing Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 10:00am both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
