John Timothy Stone (1947-2026)

John Timothy Stone, better known as Tim, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on December 2, 1947 in Hollywood, California, Tim’s life was a testament to family, community,and service.

Tim was a dedicated husband to Cecilia, his wife of 58 years, a devoted supporter of his daughters, Teresa and Monica, and his sons-in-law, Juan and Fred, and a proud grandfather to his five grandchildren: Taylor, Elena, Eva, Amalia, and Émile.

Tim had deep roots with Cecila’s family and will be deeply missed by siblings-in-law Robert, Lina and Dee. His memory will be cherished by his sisters’ children, Jennifer, Ashley, and Cindy, along with many other family members.

A friend to many, Tim was known for his kind smiles, quirky jokes, and enthusiasm for the Dodgers.

Tim and Cecilia spent over 38 years building the local business Ready Print and together served the Pittsburg community through Kiwanis, Key Club, and other organizations. His legacy of service will not be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on October 2, 2026 at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. In Tim’s honor, contributions can be made to the Kiwanis Club of Pittsburg.
