John Joseph Valencia was born on Tuesday, May 28,1929 and passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Devoted and loving husband of Louise Valencia for 72 years. Father of one daughter, Margie and three sons, John ,Victor and Jaime. He is also survived by two sisters: Connie Mack and Dolores Lucena.

John attended Roosevelt Junior High, Polytechnic High School and two years at USF. Avid collector of Jazz music and sharp dresser at Delta Lines known for always wearing dark green tinted glasses no matter where he was. Could not tell if he was watching you or asleep…it kept you on the edge. John worked as a teamster Local 85 truck driver for 41 year's total, Railway Express, Delta Lines Trucking and Cal Motors Express/Di Salvo until he  retired in 1991. His pastime activities included wrenching on cars, enjoying car shows, waterskiing, fishing, and helping people move. John relaxed listening to music at the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee and dancing with Mom. His greatest joy, was visiting and vacationing with his family in Maui on numerous occasions.

John will be missed by all the family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, all the nephews and nieces who called him " Uncle Nito".

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00pm at 3741 Roundhill Drive, Pittsburg, Ca 94565
