Jonathan was born and raised in Richmond, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the military at age 21. He was a dedicated military man, serving 20+ years in the US Navy stationed in Concord, California. He was a Desert Storm Veteran and received Sailor of the Year in 1999 for the West Coast. After retiring in 2003, he then worked at the Naval Weapons Station in Concord as a Federal Police Officer for 17 more years.
In his spare time, Jon loved to fish, smoke cigars, work in the garden with his wife, was an avid animal lover, San Jose Sharks fan, but most of all, he loved racing. It was his greatest passion in life. He even worked on a pit crew in his younger years. He loved Nascar and Dirt
Track racing. If there was a race on, Jon was watching it.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Denise and their daughter, Jaclyn.
We miss him more than anything but we take solace in knowing that he is no longer in any pain or suffering and hope that he has found peace wherever his soul may be and we know that he will watch over and protect us until we are reunited once again.
