Joseph S. Lucido passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 27, 2024. He was born to Salvatore and Rose (Blondie) Lucido on April 18, 1937.  Joe married Rosetta S. Enea on October 24, 1965 and they had three daughters together. Joe retired after a long career at Tesoro (Tosco) Refinery in Martinez.  During that time, he was the proud president of his local union. Joe was a dedicated member of the Italian American Club and a devoted catholic.  In his retirement, Joe enjoyed volunteering at the Pittsburg Historical Society,  cheering on the SF Giants and 49ers, and  spending time with his family. Joe is survived by his loving family: wife Rosetta, daughters Joelle ( Jeff) Russo, Rochelle (Neil) Gardiner and Nicole ( Ed) Cancilla and his 5 grandchildren Aubrielle, Dominic, Nicholas, Ella, & Siena. Joe is preceded in death by his sister Rosalie Styers. Joe truly loved life, food, and sharing in conversations with anyone he met. He will be remembered as a dedicated family man and proud member of the Pittsburg community.

Memorial Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10:30am at Church of the Good Shepherd in Pittsburg.
