Joe Milani ,90, passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Eve. Joe was born on July 3, 1933, to Peter and Mary Milani in Pittsburg Ca. Joe graduated from Pittsburg High School and served in the United States Army. For many summers he would go to Monterey to fish on his uncle's fishing boat.  They would fish for Tuna and sardines.  Finally, Joe went to work for Continental Can Co. where he worked until his retirement.

Joe married Andrea in 1961 and they had two children: Dottie and Joey Jr.  Joe was also very involved in his community.  Joe was a member of the PEHDC, and a member of SIRs. Joe and Andrea were both board members of the Stoneman Village Apartments in Pittsburg and members of the Pittsburg Elks Club and the Italian American Club.

Joe and Andrea had three grandchildren that they adored, Chas, Andrew and Natalie. They spent many hours attending all their sporting events, recitals and musicals. When they weren't with their grandchildren, they spent their time traveling up and down the coast enjoying their love of the ocean.

Joe is survived by his daughter Dottie and Son in Law Chuck.  Grandchildren Chas (Monique), Andrew (Debra), Natalie (Jason) and Great grandchildren Sienna and Arlo.  Joe was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Mary Milani, his beautiful and loving wife Andrea and their son Joey.

There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 1:30pm at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch. In Lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the charity of your choice.
