Joseph G. Silva, born on April 8, 1934 in Hanford, Ca to Polly and Francis Silva. Joe worked at Western Gear, Continental Can and retired from the Pittsburg school district. He was a past Exalted Ruler of  the Pittsburg Elks Lodge. Joe was an outgoing person.

Joe is survived by his wife Emily, son Joseph and daughter Shari. One grandson Cody and two granddaughters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Manuel and Alvin.

A memorial funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Ignatius of Antioch. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
