Jovita Murillo passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family on September 28, 2013. Mrs. Murillo was born in Mexico. She married Jose Murillo and moved to Pittsburg, Ca with their children. She was a member of the Sociedad Guadalupana. Mrs. Murillo was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Avelino, Eliseo, and sisters: Josefina Eloisa and Chana and husband Jose. Mrs. Murillo is survived by her siblings: Esperanza, Aurora, Adela, and Vincente. Her children: Lupe, Ernesto, Augustin, Jose Luis and Arnold; her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, October 3, 2013 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Friday, October 4, 2013 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
Mrs. Murillo leaves behind the great love she had for her family and friends and the happiness that comes from the stories told by those who loved her as they remember all the good times spent with her. She will be greatly missed. With love, goodbye Jovita.
