Julia Guerrero Passmore passed away Thursday May 2, 2024, at the Lonetree Post Acute facility in Antioch CA at the age of 101. The Matriarch of the Guerrero Family. Julia was born in Holbrook AZ, one of 10 children, daughter of the late Guadalupe and Romanita Guerrero. Married 62 years to the late Fred L Passmore. Blessed with 5 children, Judith Rodriguez (Chago), Trudy Glossin (Ron), Gloria Pineda (Richard), Roy Passmore (Margaret) and Frank Passmore (Maria). 9 Grandchildren, 24 Great grandchildren, and 14 Great great grandchildren.

Julia's love for family, friends, community and politics started when the young pregnant military wives left in Camp Stoneman needed help.  She started fundraising, making tamales and food plates. She progressed by organizing, starting and joining numerous organizations in continuing
to help families and community. She has been honored with many awards and accolades throughout her lifetime including Citizen of the Year award.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with a vigil at 4:00pm. Funeral liturgy Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:30am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal service following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch. Donations can be made in memory of Julia to the Catholic Daughters of America. Guadalupana's Society.
