Keith H. Gemaehlich passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer. Keith was born and raised in Colorado. After graduating high school, he served his country in the Navy from 1960-1964. Keith is a retiree of The Dow Chemical Co., where he worked for 30 years.

Keith married Betty (Ferrante) Bartlett on September 3, 1977 where they both lovingly raised 3 children: Terry, Carolyn, and Richard Bartlett. He enjoyed working with his hands doing wood work projects and feeding his birds in the backyard. He has always been a caring and thoughtful person with a positive attitude and always willing to help someone in need.

Keith is survived by his wife Betty Gemaehlich, stepchildren Terry and Richard Bartlett, his twin sisters Carolyn Baker and Marilyn Babcock. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Henry and Amanda Gemaehlich and his stepdaughter, Carolyn Bartlett.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 9:45am with a funeral service at 11:00am at the Grace Lutheran Church 195 Alvarado Ave, Pittsburg, CA 94565. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
