Kingsley Anthony Murdoch of Pittsburg, California passed away on August 14, 2026. He was born on April 12, 1948 in Savanah LaMar, Westmoreland, Jamaica, to Byron Galloway and Olive Tomilson (Murdoch) He came to the United States in 1959 to be with his mother Olive and stepfather Gerald, with whom he was raised by in Pittsburg, California. Kinglsey becames a United States citizen on April 16, 1982. Throughout the years, he worked at Continental Canco, Plant 80 in Pittsburg, California, Chevron Richmond, Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery, (Sparkle Cleaners Janitorial (self-employed), Purple Heart Thrift Store, Concord and Durham Transportation.

Kingsley is survived by his wife Guadalupe Murdoch, (his children’s mother) Hilda Murdoch. (Sons) Kinglsey Murdoch Jr. of Fresno, Marlon Murdoch of Fresno. (Daughter) Brandy and (son-in-law) James Jordan of Antioch. (Stepson) Reynaldo Y. Cuen of Pittsburg, (stepdaughters) Senerina and Jessica Cuen of Fresno. (Brothers) Wilton Murdoch of Brentwood, Milton, Shelly, Romell, Duval and Danville Galloway, all from Jamaica. (Sisters) Marine, Tessa, Sonia, Leisa, Isla, Sydon and Wendy, all from Jamaica.

He is proceeded in death by his brother Megand and sister Merla Galloway from Jamaica, mother Olive Murdoch, stepmother Eugenie (Ms. Girlie) Galloway and stepfather Gerald Murdoch. Kingsley has 31 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026 2:00 PM TO 6PM AT PITTSBURG CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE 5305 KIRKER PASS ROAD, PITTBURG, CA 94565.
