Larry Morton passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at home after a long battle with COPD, Dementia and Heart Disease. He touched many lives in his 73 years. He was born in Livermore, California and died in Bay Point, California. Through the years, Larry had many careers from Car Racing, Construction, Truck Driving, and Auto Mechanic. He did a tour as a US Marine from 1959 - 1963. His basic training was in San Diego and his home base was Camp Pendelton in Oceanside, California. He also had many hobbies from CB radio, rebuilding computers, and other electronics, but his absolute favorite past time was fishing! He precedes his parents, Lawrence and Eva Morton of East Nicholas, California, and preceding siblings Dick Morton and Thelma Flinn, and his surviving siblings Liz Moudy and Ted Morton.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie Morton, and their children, Donna Morton (Roy) Schaffer, Kathy Morton (Larry) McFarland, Mike Morton (Felicia Schwab), Edna (Rick) Wellman, and preceded by daughter Lynda Lea Morton. He also has many Grandchildren, Trenton Schaffer, Dannielle Schaffer, Lisa Henry, Cheyanne McFarland, Ali Schwab-Miller, Michelle Morton, Hunter Wellman, and Kimberlyn Wellman, not to mention Great-Grandchildren Alex Young, Jacob Schaffer, Xavier Detty, Skyla Henry, Aidreanne Kellough, Emma Henry, and Isabelle Wellman.

Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of His Life on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00am at the Clubhouse 3777 Willow Pass Road in Bay Point, California 94565. This will be a celebration of his life so bring your memories and appetite.
