Leon Neilson, 89, peacefully passed away after a long illness at home with his family by his side. He loved his family dearly and will be sorely missed by them, as well as friends. Leon was born in Los Angeles, to David and Lorena Neilson. He attended school in Los Angeles. After high school he joined the U.S. Navy and served 4 years. Trained as an electrician, his career at Sears Home Service spanned 40 years.

Leon is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughter, Shannon, granddaughter Cassandra, and great granddaughter Jocelyn, nephews, Van (Leslie), and Gary (Avalina) Neilson. He was preceded in death by his four siblings.
