Leonard Eugene Green was born in Missouri to Roy and Sue Green. He moved to Antioch in his late teens where he lived until his retirement. He and his wife Linda then retired to Oakley.
He worked at Purity grocery store before joining the Air Force for 4 years. Leonard joined the Antioch Police Department where he worked until his retirement. He achieved the rank of Sergeant.
He loved hunting and fishing but really loved spending time with his wife and grandchildren, gardening and telling them stories.
Leonard is survived by his loving siblings, Frances Douglas, Shelba Barton, Shirley Wygal, Ruby Chism, Marjorie Farmer, and Jim Green. Daughter Dawn Cordy, stepchildren, Ron Jones, Karen Serkiz, and David Jones, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Sue Green, siblings Mary Higgins, and Leroy Green. We will always love and miss our Sergeant.

Friends and family are invited to his memorial service on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
