Lori Marie Hawkingberry passed away on July 9th surrounded by family, friends, and a hospice nurse. She was born January 14th, 1961, to Jayne Lou Matthew and Harry Hamilton Doughty. She graduated from Kent State University in 1981 with an Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science. Lori worked for the Department of Defense for 13 years in Hawaii at Camp Smith, Hickam Air Force Base, and Pearl Harbor Naval Station. She also worked 7 years for the Department of Justice at the U.S. Attorney's Office of San Francisco.

Lori married Thomas Edward Hawkingberry on February 14th, 1983 in the Chapel by the lake at the Naval Station Great Lakes. They lived 3 and a half years in Guam. Moved to Hawaii in 1986 and stayed till 1998. Moved to the San Francisco Bay area, a place we loved and called home for nearly three decades.

Lori had a bubbly personality, enjoyed doing arts and crafts, stamp collecting, and going to concerts. The family wishes to thank Rosario Valenzuela and her family for taking care of Lori for the past three months. Also, Sutter Hospice, especially nurse Sindy and case worker Kathy.

Lori will be deeply missed. Burial will be held at the Diamond Head Memorial Park in Honolulu, Haw aii.
