It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Lourdes (Ludy) Kirchner on April 19, 2022 at 86 years of age. She is reunited with her father Jesus Mabute, Sr., mother Juana, brother Jun, daughter Charito and 2nd husband William Kirchner.
Lourdes was born in Manila, Philippines. She attended La Consolacion College for her certificate diploma in Secretarial. She worked at Dr. Jose Rodriguez Hospital in Tala, Caloocan City for more than 20 years. In 1983, she immigrated to the United States of America and settled in California. She worked as a medical assistant and later on as Remittance processor at Mervin's Department Store.
Coming to America, she had a big dream for a bright and better future not only for herself but for her children. It was a dream come true when her youngest daughter Mila arrived from the Philippines in 1985, then her only son Joey, joined them in 1993. Her daughter Winnie and family immigrated to Canada in 1994. Above and beyond all things, family was the most important aspects in her life.
In her passing she leaves behind her daughter Winnie (Jimmy), Joey (Imelda), Milarose. Adored grandmother to Angelo (Jenna), Anthony, Kenneth (Angelica), Jonathan, Filip, and Dylan. Great grandchildren Ciel, Reese, and Angelico Paulo, Including Buster, a Maltese/Havanese dog who took her under his protection, a faithful companion and her bestie for life who was always by her side more than anyone else could be.
Lourdes, Ludy or Manang Luds to her best friends liked travelling, dancing, singing and "lunching" with the "Bruhas" and playing the Sequence game with her BFFS.
Her generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family are invited to visitations on Monday, April 25, 2022, and Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 11.30am at Church of the Good Shepherd in Pittsburg. Committal services following at Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
