Obituary

Lynn Eloise Manwill (McAtee), 78 of Antioch, CA, passed away on January 23, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Lynn was born on April 22, 1947, and grew up in Martinez, CA. She was the youngest of 7 children; she was the daughter of Oren and Mabel (Hayes) McAtee.

Lynn graduated from Antioch High School in 1965.

Lynn married Mark Manwill on January 19, 1969, at the Chapel of the Bells in Reno, NV. They were married for 57 years at the time of her passing. Together they have 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Lynn worked some exciting jobs in her life, including Food Maxx where she retired from in 2012. She also worked for the Government at the US Census Bureau, Oakland, CA office. She worked for restaurants, bakeries, and a craft store at the mall. But her most important job was raising her family; her kids and grandchildren meant the world to her.

Lynn especially loved cooking and crafting. She was able to create some of the most beautiful things with her hands. Her meals were always spectacular. She had a love for painting, crochet, and baking cakes. She was able to pass these passions along to her children and grandchildren.

Remaining to cherish Lynn's memory are her husband Mark Manwill, their children, Loni Manwill, Michelle (Charles) Muragin, Mehgan (Mitchell) Coelho, Rachel Manwill and Logan Manwill; their grandchildren, Joey (Amber), Kelsey (Tudo), Kyle, Forester, Kaleb, Jade, Madelynn, Mirranda, Audrey, Dallas, Morgan, and William. And their great- grandchildren, Baylee, Destiny, Avery, Joey Jr, Haylee, Freedom, Sixx, Aurora, Kalelani, Kirie, Kaleb, Karly-Rose, and Jenesis

She also leaves behind her brother George (Kay) McAtee and her sister-in-law Cherrie Benavides, and a number of nieces and nephews that she cherished.

Preceding Lynn in death were her parents, Oren McAtee and Mable (Hayes), her brothers Lee and Alan McAtee, her sisters Alma (Clyde) Frits, Mary Jo Higgins, and Janice McAtee
